Held on fourth Tuesday of the month.

Join us on Tuesday 27 March 2012 from 12.30 until 1.30pm to hear Kent Goldsworthy, who is an excellent speaker with a wealth of knowledge about international affairs. He is a lecturer in Global Studies at URMIT.

In our next session Kent Goldsworthy, lecturer at URMIT, an expert in international affairs and a brilliant speaker, is going to discuss what is happening in Europe. The EU is giving billions of dollars to Greece in return for an agreement by Greece to implement dramatic policy changes - this is is just the latest in a long and often traumatic history of Structural Adjustment Programs. What does the history of these programs tell us we might expect for Greece and for others that might receive 'bailouts' in future?
